Dyno Nobel names Vocus Group's Nitesh Naidoo as CFO

The news: Fertilisers and explosives group Dyno Nobel, formerly named Incitec Pivot, has appointed Vocus Group executive Nitesh Naidoo as its new chief financial officer.

The context: Naidoo is currently Vocus' consumer division CEO, and he previously served as the company's group CFO. He also previously held senior financial and leadership positions at Optus, Telefonica and T Mobile.

Dyno Nobel's group financial controller Damian Buttler has been serving as interim CFO since February, following the departure of previous finance chief Paul Victor.

Dyno Nobel will begin trading under its new name and ticker, DNL, today, after shareholders voted in favour of the move in December.
