The news: Grok Ventures, the investment firm owned by tech billionaire Mike Cannon-Brookes, has announced key leadership changes with the departure of two senior executives.

The context: Tan Kueh and Jeremy Kwong-Law are departing Grok Ventures after making significant contributions to the firm's climate-focused investments. Kwong-Law, who was employee number one and chief investment officer, served for nine years and was instrumental in early seed deals and the AGL energy transition campaign.

Kueh was chief executive and played a crucial role in advancing the SunCable project across Asia Pacific.

Casey Taylor has been appointed as chief executive officer of Cannon-Brookes' private office and will oversee climate investment at Grok Ventures, working alongside Boundless Earth chief executive officer Eytan Lenko on climate philanthropy initiatives.

What they said: "As we continue our journey, these changes will help us move with more speed and impact. The climate challenge isn't slowing down, and neither are we," the company stated in its announcement on LinkedIn.
