The news: SafetyCulture has appointed Jeremy Ginsberg as the company's chief product and technology officer, leading the product, design and engineering functions.

The context: Ginsberg joined SafetyCulture in October as interim chief technology officer and will now join the executive team permanently.

He previously led global engineering organisations at Twitter, Google, and Color Health. His background includes leading revenue engineering at Twitter and building distributed systems at Google.

As chief product and technology officer, Ginsberg will focus on strengthening alignment between product and engineering, reducing technical debt, maturing SafetyCulture's enterprise readiness and improving the speed and consistency of product delivery. He will also set long-term product vision.

Ginsberg is based in Auckland and will work across SafetyCulture's global offices.

What they said: "Jeremy's leadership, technical insight, and customer-first mindset have already made a major impact since he joined us in October," SafetyCulture chief executive Kelly Vohs said.

"He has a rare ability to bring clarity to complex problems and unite teams around what truly matters. We're thrilled he has chosen to make SafetyCulture his next chapter."

Ginsberg said: "SafetyCulture sits at the intersection of real work and real impact. After spending time with the team, it was clear there's an incredible foundation here and a huge opportunity ahead. I'm excited to help us focus, move faster, and build the products that make a meaningful difference for teams out in the world."
