Melanie Perkins is a busy woman. As co-founder and CEO of Canva — valued at over $50 billion at its last raise — she’s built a career out of turning complex processes into simple, accessible tools. Now she’s revealed her own productivity hack: “AI walks".
In a LinkedIn post that has attracted hundreds of reactions, Perkins described how she combines daily walks with voice AI, using AirPods to capture thoughts that artificial intelligence later organises into actionable steps. She’s not alone in her enthusiasm. Atlassian co-founder Scott Farquhar shared at November’s National Tech Summit that he’d been experimenting with similar AI-assisted thought capture using voice.
While tech executives like Perkins and Farquhar are using AI to enhance their thinking time, others are deploying it to avoid meetings altogether.
