Preve raises $2.2m to tackle physiotherapy dropouts with AI
Backed by Carthona Capital and Startmate, Preve aims to keep patients engaged in rehab by streamlining treatment plans for both clinicians and users.
Adam Beaupeurt did something millions of people do every year: he ghosted his physiotherapist. Three weeks into shoulder rehabilitation, he stopped showing up, stopped doing his exercises — and stopped getting better.
But Beaupeurt later managed to turn his act of therapeutic truancy into a startup that just raised $2.2 million.
Preve has secured seed funding to tackle one of healthcare’s most persistent problems: patients abandoning physiotherapy before their recovery is complete.
The round was led by Carthona Capital, with participation from Startmate, Archangel, Black Sheep Capital and notable angel investors, including Eucalyptus co-founders Alexey Mitko and Charlie Gearside.
