Luke Anear returns as SafetyCulture’s CEO
SafetyCulture founder Luke Anear is returning as interim CEO after the AI revolution made running a platform rebuild from New York untenable.
When Luke Anear handed SafetyCulture to a new CEO 14 months ago, he did not anticipate that AI coding tools would hand it straight back.
Anear is returning as interim chief executive of the workplace safety platform, with Kelly Vohs stepping down on 31 March after concluding that leading a major platform rebuild, on the back of the AI revolution, from New York was not workable.
Vohs is stepping down from a short stint in the role having been appointed CEO in January 2025.
He has a decade of leadership experience at Blackstone portfolio companies and a decade of using SafetyCulture’s platform as a customer — credentials that made him an attractive fit when he decided to transition to executive chairman.
